YLO Violin (Ilona Perz-Golka)
 
Polish violinist and composer – captivates the audience with her music, charm and talent. Her concerts are full of elegance and class. Ilona graduated the Music Academy in Wrocław at the Instrumental Department, as well as the Conservatory in the Netherlands. In 2008, she began her adventure with the electric violin, playing popular music and collaborating with well-known composers. She has performed all over the world. 
 
In 2020, with the promotion of her first album “Timeless”, the violinist could be heard on the biggest stages in Poland and abroad, television and radio. She is the creator of the innovative musical project “YLO Violin Symphonically”. Her first solo album “Timeless” was submitted for Polish Grammy Awords “Fryderyk 2020”.
 
In March 2022, she was awarded a prestigious statuette for: “Outstanding Violinist And Charity Benefactor Of The Year” in the competition Polish Businesswomen Awords of the “Businesswoman & Life” magazine. The same year she was chosen as the musician who played during the Betard FIM Speedway Grand Prix at the Olympic Stadium in Wrocław. In the same year she released a new solo music album with Polish Christmas music “Kolędy”.
 
In June 2023, the music video “Slavic” by YLO Violin (produced by Rewers Film Crew, with music composed by Bohdan Palowski) won: Best Music Video 2024 – ARFF Barcelona International Film Festival, Best Music Video 2023 – New Orleans Film Makers, Best Music Video 2023 – New York Movie Awords, Best Narrative – 2023 London Music Video Awords, Best Fantasy 2023 – Hollywood Gold Awords.

In the fall of 2023 was released Ilona’s third solo album, titled “Solar Eclipse”- in the style of alternative rock in cooperation with the American composer and Grammy award winner – Alejandro Campos.

On 2025, September, YLO presents her fourth original album – “Sounds of Light”. This is a highly personal project, the result of artistic exploration and sonic search on the electric violin. The album’s title reflects its concept – it’s music where sound becomes light, and light resonates with music.

The compositional layer is the work of wonderful artists that YLO has had the privilege to work with: Bohdan Palowski, Piotr Opatowicz, and Marek Czekała.
The invaluable technical and artistic contribution, including recording, mixing, and mastering in 192kHz/24bit quality, is by Dariusz Leonowicz (Darioo Music Production).
Sincere thanks to Adam Nowak and Bartosz Koziarek (DNA · AUDIO / Ministerstwo Dźwięku) for their support, trust, and attention to the smallest sonic details.

The “Sounds of Light” album is an invitation to an intimate, luminous journey. It is music meant not only to sound but also to shine.
